As you guys know, I have a Makeout 2013 thing going on right now since I'm not only going natural, but I also have some things in my collection that are not cruelty free. I have mentioned before that I have some lip products to get through that I am working on, and those aren't a huge deal since lip products are a bit easier to go through. However, the eyeshadows I have in my collection that aren't cruelty free any longer will take much longer to go though. I have given away some of my non-cruelty free eyeshadows, but I do still have the Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV to get through. Something in my brain is not letting me just give these away. I think it may be because this was my first high end purchase. I depotted these shadows into containers that are not only easier to store, but they also do not flash the blasted Urban Decay logo at me every time I got to use it. I am hoping this will help me use these shadows up. I am also hoping that starting this sort of series on my blog will help me to use them up as well as possibly encouraging some of you to use things up that you may not have the motivation to. I hope you enjoy, and I would love to know your thoughts.
I will also probably not be wearing a full face of makeup in some of these posts as some days I like to just play around with eye makeup without doing the rest of my face. I hope I don't scare anyone too badly =P

I thought it would be a good idea to do these updates on my blog. I don't want to start neglecting this blog, and making 3 minute videos seemed silly. Anyway, I decided to give away my NYX cream blush in Boho Chic, because I haven't touched it at all. I also looked at the expiration date in my NYX Eyeshadow Base in White, and I'm pretty sure that's expired. It doesn't smell or anything, but when it comes to something that goes on my eyes I don't like to take chances. I replaced that product with the All Natural Face Eye Diva Stick in Milk. When I made the order that the Milk Diva Stick, I also ordered the Black Kohl Diva stick to replace my ELF eyeshadow pencil in Rendezvous. I am giving the ELF pencil to a friend. I tried to wear one of the ELF liquid lipsticks that I am trying to get through, but they are so sticky and taste awful so, that is going to a friend as well. I think that's all that's happened since I posted my Makeout 2013 video! Thank you for checking in, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
These are the products I would repurchase in a heartbeat and feel that I will always have in my home.
This is a collab that was started by Brianna from iluvjesse444. Be sure to check out all the other participants' videos and/or blog posts by clicking here.
1. Coconut Oil: (Pretend it's in the picture. I forgot to bring it out) I use coconut oil for SO many things. I use them to make wipes for my daughter, in my hair, and to remove my makeup. An organic, unrefined coconut is best =)
2. Raw Honey: I use this to wash my face. It helps reduce break outs, redness, and since it doesn't foam it helps keep my skin from getting dry.
3. George's Always Active Aloe Spray: This is a very multipurpose product for me. I use it like you would a toner, mix it with clay masks, and use it as a makeup finishing spray! I think this would also make a great mixing medium for pigments. It helps reduce acne and breakouts, and it's also hydrating!
4. 100% Pure Coffee Bean Eye Cream: This is my HG eye cream. It hydrates, has reduced my dark circles dramatically, and works really well under makeup.
5. Pumpkin and Poppy Oil Absorbing Mineral Veil: Another multipurpose product in my collection. I use this in the summer to set foundation when I need it. This also is really good to use with an under eye concealer that has creasing problems. It also makes stubborn shadows blend easier.
6. Pumpkin and Poppy Oak Bark Contouring Powder: I've raved about this product in many posts on this blog. It provides a subtle contour for light skin tones and blends really well.
7. Pumpkin and Poppy Lady of Light Cream Highlighter: This is the only highlight that I feel I need. It works beautifully with my skin tone, and it's not over the top.
8. The All Natural Faced Vegan Cream Blush in Juicy Peach: This product is cheap and AMAZING. This is a lovely, natural peach flush on my skin tone. I plan on buying many more shades.
9. Cowgirl Dirt Southern Belle Cream Foundation: I reviewed this product here. It provides light to medium coverage, has amazing staying power, and works great for dry and normal skin.
10. The All Natural Face Vegan Eyeshadow in Fairy Mist: This is a very unique color that is great in the crease and all over the lid.
11. Pumpkin and Poppy lip pencil in Never Was a Cornflake Girl: Perfect peachy nude for me. Great formula and great for layering.
These pigments were swatched over a sticky base. They need one so that they stick to the eye and so that the shimmer sticks. They blend beautifully and are very affordable so, I suggest everyone check out Silk Naturals. Two samples also came with my order, and I will include those swatches as well.
