FOTD: Crystal Gravity

I love fall, but I HATE how my skin acts as the seasons change. I'm dry, red, and splotchy so, I apologize for the condition of my skin. Hopefully, it will sort itself out soon.
I do, however, love the look I created with my Urban Decay Book of Shadows IV today. I decided to pull it out to get ready for church on Sunday and was inspired to do this look while I was getting ready. Today, I finally got to execute it. I hope you enjoy!

White Rabbit Beauty

I just received some samples I ordered from White Rabbit Beauty and decided that I would do a quick post about this company.
This is a website that has all cruelty free products. They offer very generous samples at a ridiculously low price so that you can try things before you buy them.
When you purchase from White Rabbit Beauty, a portion of your purchase goes to two charities that you choose from the options available.
The shipping is free for makeup items and very low for skin care.
The thing that really made me want to write this is that Jean, the owner, includes sweet little notes with the orders. I ordered two foundation samples, which totaled up to six dollars including shipping, and she still was kind enough to include a note.

"Hi Andrea,
I hope you find a good match with the samples.
Happy Autumn!
Jean"

I just thought this was so thoughtful and sweet. Definitely go check out whiterabbitbeauty.com

FOTD : Forest Nymph

Yesterday, I got a TON of cleaning done so, I wanted to take today to experiment with make-up. I usually only have time to do this while my daughter naps, and I take every opportunity. I wanted to experiment with the Pumpkin and Poppy cream shadow in Louis, and I really like the way this turned out. Keep in mind when looking at the photo that a little more of the green shows through than my camera will pick up, to my frustration. I think this eye look can be used for a forest nymph or fairy costume for Halloween when paired with wings and things like that. Also, forgive the state of my skin. We are not getting along of late.

September Favorites

I've got quite a few favorites this month complete with swatches for most of them. I hope you enjoy!

Urban Decay Primer Potion
This primer is great for preventing creasing and fading.

Too Faced Romantic Eye
This palette has been my go to this month. It's great for putting together quick looks, and the shadows are great quality.

Louis
Pumpkin and Poppy Cream eyeshadow in Louis is a beautiful green. This does not crease on me, and I think this is a great color for fall.

Between the Stars (refer to P&P shadow collection post for swatch)
This has been my go to inner corner highlight this month.

In the Buff (refer to P&P shadow collection post for swatch)
This is a beautiful champagne color that I have been enjoying on my lid with the other Pumpkin and Poppy shadows I am featuring in this post.

Furry Friend (refer to P&P shadow collection post for swatch)
This has been my go to crease color this month. Works beautifully with In the Buff to create a perfect fall look.

Garden of Magic (refer to P&P shadow collection post for swatch)
This is a great, quick all over the lid color. I have been using a lot this month, because it makes a great, put together look with just one color.

Miliani Liquif'eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil in Aqua
I simply love this color. It stays all day and looks great on it's own with some mascara. It also works really well in the waterline for a pop of color.

100% Pure Healthy Skin Foundation with Super Fruits
This is a great foundation. It has been the only foundation I have worn this month. I have a full review of this foundation, if you would like to check that out.

Great setting powder that doesn't make me look cakey. It gives a really healthy, beautiful finish.

My go to contouring powder all the time! Great for fair skin. I always rave about this!

Great bronzer. I usually mix this in with my setting powder. Gives a beautiful, "inner glow" finish.

Great cream blush from Pumpkin and Poppy. Goes with everything and gives a lovely finish to the skin.

ELF Studio Blush in Twinkle Pink
This is a really soft blush that works well with my complexion.

This is a beautiful, rosy blush that is perfect for fall.

ELF Matte Lip color in Tea Rose (bottom) and Natural (top)
Tea Rose is a beautiful fall color and goes well under purples. Natural is a really good base more most any colors. These colors also work well on their own if your lips have been exfoliated. They last really well.

I'd love for your to leave your favorites in the comments or to see your blog posts or videos.

Silk Naturals Thrills

I received this pigment in my BeautyBox 5, and I wanted to share it with you all. It's a lovely color.

Thrills is a medium nude plum. It costs $4.00 for 3/4 of a teaspoon in a five gram jar.

Happy Friday!
