Review: Pumpkin and Poppy Lip Pencil in Marriane and Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Spring Haze

Funny Lip Shape is a collection based on Tori Amos. I have only purchased two items from Pumpkin and Poppy's Funny Lip Shape Collection thus far, but I can honestly say that they have been my most reached for lip products since I received them.
Marianne
This lip pencil is inspired by Tori Amos' song Marianne, which is about a childhood friend of Tori's who died as a young teenager from a tragic drug overdose. This color is described on Veggie Beauty's website as a mute, soft pink with cool undertones and a glossy finish. This is a great everyday color as it's versatile and looks beautiful on it's own. I did not find this pencil to be at all drying, and the staying power is outstanding, lasting between three and a half and four hours through talking, eating, and drinking. When the color does wear off, it leaves a nice, even stain that does not make the lips look dry. It also does not transfer once the color has had a moment to set, and is kiss approved by my beloved. This is an added bonus to those of us whose boyfriends/husbands don't enjoy sporting our chosen lip color for the day. ;) This pencil costs $8.00 and is worth every penny.

Spring Haze
This beautiful lip gloss is also based off of a Tori Amos song, in this case being Spring Haze. This color is described on Veggie Beauty's website as being a purple/pink gloss with fushia cosmetic glitter. As I'm sure you all have guessed by now purple is my favorite color so, I was very excited when Veggie Beauty announced on her Facebook page that she would be making a purple gloss. I LOVE this color. I have been known to wear a purple lip as often as I can, and this is a lovely addition to my purple collection. It also looks lovely over Marianne, and adding this gloss on top makes the last power of the lip pencil even better. The gloss itself lasted around three hours on me through eating, talking, and drinking and also leaves a very nice, even stain. The stain was more pink than purple on my lips. This lip gloss is very moisturizing, as the name suggests, and contains Vitamin E, Meadowfoam Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, and Shea Butter to nourish the lips. It costs $7.00 and is also worth every penny.
